Answer:

there are multiple differences between the crops grown in the Middle region and the crops grown in the Southern region.

  • In the middle region of India, there is a distinction between the types of crops grown. these are roughly divided into Karif, rabi, and Zaid crops. there is no such distinction in the south, where the temperature is high enough to grow topical crops throughout the year depending on the soil's availability of moisture.
  • While rice is the main crop grown in South India and is used as a staple food there, wheat is the main grain grown in North India and is frequently used to make bread like chapatti and roti. Paddy grown in the middle region requires much more water than other crops.
  • Because crop production is influenced by environmental factors, consumer demand for products, labor availability, and technological advancements, various crops are grown in different geographical areas within a country.

factors like climate and favorable topography of the soil both have a big impact on the crops that can be cultivated in different regions of a country.
