- Chemical changes are changes matter undergoes when it becomes new or different matter.
- It burns
- Temperature changes without heating or cooling.
- It bubbles (makes gas)

- When a substance undergoes a chemical change, it is changed in to a different substance with different properties.

- Most of the chemical changes are irreversible except for Electrolysis of water.
Electrolysis of water is a chemical and reversible change as on passing electricity through water, hydrogen and oxygen molecules are produced.
Hydrogen and oxygen recombine to produce water under the influence of electricity that shows it is a reversible change.
