• The outer parts of the computer are called hardware.

• Hardware is constructed using physical materials or components.

• It operates under the control of a software.

• If hardware is damaged, it is replaced with new one.

• We cant send hardware easily & frequently.

• We cannot make new duplicate copies of the hardware.

Example :- CPU, Keyboard, Mouse,etc .

• We can create duplicate copies of the software.

Example :- Windows, Linux, etc.
