- The act of German unification started under the leadership of King Wilhelm 4 of Prussia. He was the leader of Frank furt parliament under his leadership the parliament tired its level best for the unification but it failed

- Bismark was convinced that the unification of Germany could be achieved only by the princess and not by the people. He wanted to fulfill his aim by expanding Prussia upto Germany
- Bismarck's object of unifying Germany was accomplished by three wars which were fought during a brief period of seven years that was 1864 to 1870
- On 18 January 1871 the king of Prussia was crowned as the German emperor in the royal palace of Versailles in this ceremony German came into existence as a united German nation.
