- Gravity is maximum at the pole and minimum at the equators.
- When we go upward or inward from the center of the earth it's value decreases.

→It's value is 9.8 ~10 m/s^2.
maximum value at the poles :- 9.83 m/s^2.
minimum value at the equator :- 9.78 m/s^2.
Value of g varies because the earth is not completely round.It is flat at the poles and rise at the equator.

Some examples of gravity exerted by earth are :-
- When we throw a stone it comes back to the surface of earth.
- Falling down of rain, snow due to gravity.
Gravity,produces acceleration in body also known as acceleration due to gravity.
