A crowd had gathered including women and children for the annual Baisakhi fair.General Dyer have ordered the ban of all meetings.

Knowing this,he came with huge number of troops and closed the entry,exit and all other gates of the ground.

He ordered to fire,many people died.Many suicided by jumping into wells to not die in hands of British.

Large number of people were killed.

some people's were gathered at jallianwala bagh to protest the rawlett act which was passed by general dyer.
general dyer entered into the bagh closed the exit odered his troops to fire on the people . thousands were killed and lakhs of people injured.
