Explain about laws of reflection
Answers
Answer:
the laws of reflection are that
1) the angle of incidence is equal to angle of reflection
2) the incident ray, reflected ray and the normal on the point of incidence on the same plane.
Explanation:
the first one clearly states that if something strikes a mirror, take a 90 degrees angle where it strikes(known as normal) , the angle formed between the normal and incident ray is known as angle of incidence and between normal and reflected ray is known as angle of reflection. so this angle of incidence and angle of reflection are always mathematically equal.
the second one says that the incident ray. reflected ray and normal on point of incidence (the phrase 'on the point of incidence' is important as normal means a 90 degrees angle mathematically, therefore it actually states the 90 degrees angle corresponding to the plane on the point where the incident ray strikes) lies on the same plane. The plane might be any object which can reflect light, regular and irregular too. but the should lie on the same point in the plane.

Answer࿐
Laws of reflection:-
1st law:-The incident ray, the reflected ray,and the normal at the point of incidence lie on the same plane.
2nd law:- The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
