Full form of IIT is Indian Institute of Technology.
and it held the jee main exam.so as the better candidates can be selected.

Indian Institute of Technology joint entrance examination is an annual engineering college entrance examination in India.
it is conducted by one of the seven zonal's IIT (IIT Roorkee ,IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay ,IIT Madras and IIT Guwahati ).
under guidance of the joint admission board JB it is used as the sole admission test by the 23rd Indian Institute of Technology.

1)first and most important is to have confidence in yourself don't lose that confidence while preparing for entrance exams even if you are not doing well in coaching classes .

2)having mentioned about coaching classes I would said they play an important role in helping you crack the exam the simple reason being continued guidance throughout the year and perpetual test that keep you in touch with course all the time his it is important to be regular in them to be able to achieve good results in the end.

3)at home prepare a timetable and follow it strictly don't ignore it

4) don't get too involved with only engineering books and referred to NCERT books to with the new NCERT pattern said question directly made from there which you might have already seen your cell by analysing this years paper .

5)don't waste time and don't stress yourself study in balanced way and maintain a good friend circle who will guide you when you face doubts and also Boost Your moral.

6)this one is for toppers don't get complacent many good rankers in coaching institutes Gate completion if they good marks which is is bad in the long run as they lose out to lower rankers in the end I have seen many cases.

7)last but very important point is not to get nervous while going for exams this will get your hands and brain move faster speaker and better than those who are nervous.

◇Waking up 15 -5mins before classes.We complete almost every work just before the deadline. So at the end of 4 years , we have perfected our talent of doing things at last time.

◇Most people think of us as nerd. Bt we are not. 80% students rarely study at IIT. But when exams are on the head they study like hell (after all they have the patience of doing so). And that study just before exams is adventurous. A pic of my friends around 8 hours before exam will define this.

◇We save a lot of trees every year. Completing a semester with at max 2 copies . Our study material consists of photos of notes, ppts, ebooks, video lectures.

◇Classes, huh. We have classes stuffed up. From 8 am to 5 pm most of the days with 2 hours break (12pm to 2pm). But most of the classes are boring. Either we use phone or fulfill our sleep.

◇Our college life is full of fests. My college has 3 fest (sports fest, cultural fest, technical fest). Then each department has its own departmental fest. Further there is Inter IIT, in which all IITs across the country participate and the IITians get a common platform.

→Try To Know About 'KVPY" Exam.Its A Scholarship Exam.But If You Get More Than 85-90 Then You Can Join IIT.You Will Be Called For IIT Joining.

You Have To Choose 3 Subject Combination Out Of 4 Subjects[Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology]And Have To Give The Exam.T ry To Know More About It.I Think I Gave Correct Information.
