suspension is a heterogeneous mixture, where the solute particles stay suspended as they don't get dissolved with the solvent.

properties of suspension :-

• it's a heterogeneous mixture.

• we can see the particles of suspension by named eyes as they are bug enough.

• particles of suspension allow the beam of light to pass through it and also makes the path visible. hence, the particles of suspension scatters when a beam of light passes through it.

• solute particles settle down when it's left undisturbed. hence it is unstable.

• the particles of suspension can also be separated by filter paper.
