  • Amphoteric Oxide have either acidic or basic property and can react with both acid and base .
  • it is made up of amphoteric element such as Aluminium ,Zinc etc oxide.
  • Reaction involve in the formation of amphoteric Oxide are :---

  1. Zn + O2 -----> ZnO
  2. Al + O2 ------->Al2O3
