Explain an activity to prove that particles of matter are extremely small in size

1. Take 3 to 4 crystals of potassium permanganate(KMnO4) in 100ml of water, and mix them to form a solution.
2. Take 10ml of this solution in other 90ml of water.
3. Repeat these steps 5 to 8 times and dilute the solution.
4. At last you still can see some pink colour in the solution.
5. This shows that particles of matter are extremely small in size.
