Anomalous expansion of water is a phenomenal property of water in which the water distend instead of shrinking as the temperature starts from 4° to 0°.and it resulted that the water becomes less dense. The degree of compactness becomes less and less it resulted it freeze due to smallest particle of water. It led to the formation of crystal structure in solid form.
