social causes- police of racil discrimination ( Britishers were rude towards Indian and they regard themselves superior race. such act of unjust discrimination make Indians angry) taxing religious places( they imposed tax on land belonging to temple and mosque which hurt religious sentiments of Indian) . political causes- policy of expansion ( they annexed Indian rulers territory by subsidiary alliance and doctrine of lapse made indians angry) Disrespect shown to Indian ruler( nana shaeb and Lakshmi bai become victims of doctrine of lapse and they revolted against Britishers). mark this as branelist answer
