PROPERTIES OF MAGNET:
1. Magnets attract objects of iron, cobalt and
nickel.
2. The force of attraction of a magnet is greater at its poles than in the middle.
3. Like poles of two magnets repel each other. 4. Opposite poles of two magnets attracts each other.
5. If a bar magnet is suspended by a thread and if it is free to rotate, its South Pole will move towards the North Pole of the earth and vice versa.
Hope, this may help you

Hello mate
Here is your answer
Any three properties of a magnet
1 - DIRECTIVE PROPERTY - WHEN A MAGNET IS SUSPENDED FREELY IT ALWAYS ORIENT ITSELF IN A NORTH AND SOUTH DIRECTION
2 - ATTRACTIVE PROPERTY - A MAGNET CAN ATTRACT SMALL PIECES OF MAGNETIC SUBSTANCE LIKE IRON , STEEL , COBALT , ALNICO E T C. THE ATTRACTION IS MAXIMUM AT TE TWO ENDS CALLED POLES
3 - REPULSION PROPERTY - IT IS THE SUREST TEST OF MAGNETISM . THIS IS BECAUSE REPULSION TAKES PLACE ONLY BETWEEN TWO LIKE POLES OF A MAGNET WHERE AS ATTRACTION TAKES PLACE BETWEEN TWO UNLIKE POLES OF A MAGNET AND ALSO BETWEEN A MAGNET AND A MAGNETIC SUBSTANCE
HOPE IT HELPS YOU MATE
