● Dams causes fragmantation of rivers and block the migration of routes of aquatic fauna especially for spawning.

● Dams affect the natural flow of rivers causing poor sedimention in the bottom layer of rivers

● Artificial Dams submerge some natural vegetation leading to the extinction exotic flora and fauna.
