Difference between dependent and independent or productive population:

1. dependent productive population engage in productive occupation and benefit the economics of society on the other hand independent population does not contribute to the economics of the country.

2. dependent productive population are also known as the working population whereas the independent population is known as non-workers.

3. dependent productive population belongs to the people age between 15 to 60 whereas in independent population people generally belong to age more than 60.
