The difference between democracy and non democracy is just simple as democratic regimes allows the presence of multiparty system to operate, on the contrary, non-democratic regimes do not allow multiparty system to operate thereby only one party system is allowed.

Secondly, democratic systems ensure the absolute protection of individuals right and freedom as enshrined in the highest law of the land thus the constitution, whereas non-democratic systems rather abstruse protection of the ruler alone and therefore ignore the citizens concern.

Also democratic system ensure free and fair and periodic general elections and causes change of government but non- democratic system has no free and fair and periodic general elections.

Answer:

The rulers are not accountable to the people and their needs. In ademocratic government, people elect their rulers and have right in decision making. In non-democraticgovernments, people do not elect their rulers and have no right in decision making. There is freedom of expression and people enjoy political rights
