It was first of a kind. It was then the only constitution to empower the citizens their fundamental rights.
The Constitution started with declaration of rights of man... Which was the unique feature of the Constitution at that time.
The french society was divided into two groups which were active and passive citizens..
First time, the elections took place and the french society made and declared themselves as constitutional monarchy..
