Output Device

An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment which converts information into a human-readable form. It can be text, graphics, tactile, audio, and video. ... Some of the output devices are Visual Display Units (VDU) i.e. a Monitor, Printer graphic Output devices, Plotters, Speakers etc. Explanation of any three:

  • Printers :- Printers are the devices that deliver information by means of printed characters on paper.

  • Speaker :- Speakers receive the sound in form of electric current from the sound card and then convert it to sound format audible to user.

  • Monitor :- Monitor (or "screen") is the most common form of output from a computer. It displays information in a similar way to that shown on a television screen. The picture on a monitor is made up of thousands of tiny colored dots called pixels.
