The basic statement of Ohm’s law relates the flow of electrical current with the applied voltage,

Mathematically: V = IR. In this article, you’ll learn the application of Ohm’s law to complete the circuit.

This tutorial assumes you understand fundamental concepts, if not, you can start learning the Ohm’s law here.

According to Ohm's law: At a constant temperature, the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across its ends.
V = I . R
where V is the potential difference, I is current flowing and R is the constant.
From this we can conclude
1. current is directly proportional to potential difference
2. current is inversely proportional to resistance
