The wild cabbage is a good example to prove that Entirety different looking organism can evolve from the same organism by the process of evolution . The only difference is that we are using artificial selection of evolution instead of natural selection .
The farmers have been cultivating Wild cabbage as a food plant for over thousands of years ago and have produced entirely different looking vegetables like cabbage , broccoli , cauliflower , kohlrabi , and kale from it by artificial selection....

The Farmers Done It as follows..
1 ) Some Farmers wanted to have very short distance between the leaves of wild cabbage and produced the. common variety of cabbage.
2 ) When farmers opted for the arrested flower development of wild cabbage plant , it leads to the production of another variety of cabbage called ' '' Broccoli ''..
3 ) Some Farmers went in for sterilize Flower of wild cabbage , and developed another variety of cabbage known as '' cauliflower ''..=
4 ) When farmers opted for the swollen part of wild cabbage , it leads to the evolution of yet another variable of cabbage known as '' kholrabi ''....
5 ) And finally , The farmers want to grow large leaves of wild cabbage and ended up producing a leafy vegetable . called " kale " which is also a variety of wild cabbage.....

Now. , wild cabbage is the ancestors cabbage and Cabbage, broccoli , kale , cauliflower and khilrabi are new variety of wild cabbage.......

Hope it helps to you......

Explanation:

Artificial selection helps to produce organisms with desired trait or combination of traits. This method also explains us that different looking structures can evolve from the same origin. For example, different vegetables are evolved from wild cabbage. Some farmers wanted to select for very short distances between leaves, and have bred the cabbage we eat. Some wanted to select for arrested flower development, and have bred broccoli, or for sterile flowers, and have made the cauliflower. Some have selected for swollen parts, and come up with kohlrabi. Some have simply looked for slightly larger leaves and come up with a leafy vegetable called kale. So, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, kohlrabi and kale are descended from the same ancestor, wild cabbage by artificial selection.
