A biogas plant mainly works on the chemical property the decomposition reaction. In this reaction the biogas gas plant gets decomposable or biodegradable waste into it. There is a need to add cow dung for every day. We have to continue this up to 6 to 7 weeks. Then the waste is decomposed and releases methane. Methane is a combustible substance. Hence it can be used for gas stoves. The gas enters the exhaust pipe and reaches the stove. This can reduce air pollution and save natural resources (LPG).
