➤Biotic resources are resources derived from the biosphere such as living things and from forest and the materials derived from them. This mainly include fossil fuels like petroleum, coal gas, etc. Abiotic means other than living things that mean non-living things examples are fresh air, land ,heavy metal.

Answer:

hope this will help you

Explanation:

biotic is anything that had life, has now or harbours the potential to have life in the future. Let me amplify. A toothpick may not look too lively now, but remember it came from a tree that is by all means a living organism. A leather belt may seem like an inanimate object, but it was made out of the skin of a bovine, which was very much alive before it got killed. Now, a seed doesn’t amount to much at plain sight, but if you put it in soil and water it properly, it will grow into a healthy plant with all the characteristics of a living organism. All this is the biotic environment that surrounds us. Biotic material is suposed to be made of cells, the basic units of life. If we go a little deeper, organic molecules, with a backbone of carbon atoms represent the basis for biotic material on earth. Now, what is biotic in Mars or Jupiter is a mystery to me.
