Bohr made a bold new suggestion that particles at atomic level would behave different from macroscope (bigger) objects.

according to bohrs theory :

1.Electrons revolve in certain orbits having well defined energy

2.electrons do not emit radiation long as they remain energy level

3.supply of energy excites the electron to higher energy level.

4.Emission of energy takes place when it jumps from higher level to lower level..
