Bohr atomic midel :-

1) electron move around the nucleus in the circular path called orbit , each having a particular amount of energy , the energy of orbit increases as the distance of orbit from the nucleus increases.
2) an electron doesn't radiate energy as long as it revolves in particular orbit. it make a transition from one orbit to another , when it emits or absorbs energy .
3) the angular momentum associated with an orbit is integral multiple of h/2pi.
e.g. mvr=h/2pi.
4) during revolution in an orbit , the necessary centripetal force is provided by the electrostatic force of attraction between electron and nucleus.
mv^2/r=kZe^2/r^2

the postulates of Bohr's Model of Atom are
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1)electrons revolve around the nucleus in a  circular path called orbits

2)when the electrons are in same energy level there is no change in energy

3)when the electron jumps from lower level to upper level it gains energy but when it jumps from higher to lower level it looses energy

4)only those shells are possible around the nucleus whose angular momentum is a integral multiple of h/2π
