HEYA SIS!!!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.....

WELL FIRST OF ALL WHAT IS BOYLE'S LAW?

BOYLE'S LAW : It states that for a fixed amount of an ideal gas kept at a fixed temperatureP (pressure) is inversely proportional to V (volume).

IN OTHER WORDS,

The volume of a constant mass of ideal gas at a constant temperature is inversely proportional to its pressure.

SYMBOLICALLY:

=> P = K/V
=> PV = K    (where K is the constant)

NOW,
Imagine you have a gas at a certain pressure (P1) and volume (V1). If you change the pressure to a new value (P2), the volume changes to a new value (V2). We can use Boyle's law to describe both sets of conditions:

=> P1V1 = K and P2V2 = K

NOW, SINCE K IS SAME FOR BOTH THEN WE COULD SAY THAT,

=> P1V1 = P2V2

ANOTHER WAY TO THINK ABOUT THIS LAW IS,

The values of pressure and volume are inversely proportional; if one goes up, the other must decrease by the same factor. If we trap a gas in a cylinder, and then reduce the internal volume of the cylinder to half of its original value then the value of pressure will double.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU,
THANK YOU  :)

Answer:Boyle’s Law (sometimes referred to as the Boyle-Mariotte Law) states that the absolute pressure and volume of a given mass of confined gas are inversely proportional, provided the temperature remains unchanged within a closed system. This can be stated mathematically as follows:

P1 V1 = P2 V2
