- The Jallianwala bagh incident took place on the 13th April,1919 on the day of baisakhi
- People gathered at Jallianwala bagh for enjoy and see the celebration of baisakhi mela

- people gathered to protest the rowlatt act which came into action from March.This act was a act in which Britishers can arrest anyone even without any trial this was a very bad act.so ,there was a huge protest al over the country against this act.
- Two leaders were here Saifuddin kitchlew and Dr Satya pal which gave speech in Jallianwala bagh ,Amritsar.Both of them were arrested by the Britishers
- General Dyer , a British military officer suddenly ordered his troops (army) to shoot at the gathered public.
- More than 1000 people were died and twice of were wounded and blooded.This firing lasted for more than 10 minutes
- This incident or massacre was a very sad moment in the Indian history in which innocent people died.
