•Tropical evergreen forests are called rain forests as it rains almost everytime in that forests
•they are found in the areas of 25°-27°C annual temperature and more than 200cms of rainfall.
•they are usually found at an altitude of 500-1500m.
•these forests remain evergreen throughout the year as they do not shed their leaves
•these forests are covered by climbers and ephiphytes. Bamboos are ferns are also common here.
•these forests are found in western parts of western ghats ( karnataka),kerla etc
•some trees found in this forests are Rosewood, sisam, gurjan, canes, bamboo.
