Chlorophyceae ( Green algae ) :-
- Plant body - Unicellular, colonial or filamentous .
- Cell wall- Rigid cell wall made up of an inner layer of cellulose and outer layer of pectose.
- Pigments - Chlorophyll a, b.
- Stored food - Starch and protein in the form of pyrenoids.
- Some of them store food in the form of oil droplets.
