This poem is written by very famous writer William Shakespeare. He writes this poem for his loving friend Henrry. By this poem poet is trying to say that with the passage of time all the monuments, statues which are made by kings and famous personalities will be corroded but my poem will be last long and will be remembered by everyone till the last judgement day. Time is very cunning it never waits for anyone or anything it destroys everthing with the passage of time....

☆Actually welcome to the concept of the Poetic devices and the English literature....

☆Basically this piece of greatest artwork is written by the sir Williamson Shakespeare.....

☆Actually the poem " Not Marble, Nor the Gilded Monument" Has been written by the author in the memory of his beloved ones ...which he always remembers I his life....

☆Basically the poet here describes that ...Nothing remains constant in front of the time ...but the memory of his beloved ones.....
All the fame of any jewel , monument and the and the marble structures all the non - living stuff gets degraded and destroyed in front of the mighty mature of the time ...

☆Even no power of the world can stand in front of the sword of the time .....
Nothing remains back ..all the fame , statutes and the Glitters get destroyed ..but the beauty and the Abstratcs of his beloved ones never vanishes....

☆As in the sonnet ...poet terms time as a bad thing ...as it changes unexpectedly always and can destroy anything which is against it....
