Deforestation is caused due to mercilessly clearing of forests to satisfy the greed of people. It leads to soil erosion, irregular rainfall patterns, global warming etc.

1.Trees absorb a sustain amount of carbon dioxide. Hence , Cutting of trees increase the level of carbon dioxide in atmosphere.
2.Increased level of Carbon dioxide causes global warming.
3.Flooding in the deforested area causes soil erosion.
4.Global warming causes rise in sea level.
5.Deforestation causes irregular rainfall patterns, acid rain.
6.Deforestation also unbalances the food chain.
