There is not such a specific results for this.
You cannot generalise a single property to a period.
There are many factors affecting the properties of an element.
As there is an irregularities in almost every period.
You have to see the data to get a result but you cannot generalise or say apply to all of them.

(1) Elements on the extreme left of periodic table have smallest ionisation potential (e.g. group 1, alkali metals) and are very reactive, electropositive metals.

(2) Elements on the extreme right have most negative electron gain enthalpy (e.g. halogens, group 17) and are very reactive nonmetals.

(3) Transition and inner transition elements are all metals having similar chemical properties as their atomic radii show small changes. They have ionisation enthalpy values between those of s-block and p-block elements.
