Chromatography is the technique for separation of mixtures by passing it through a solution or suspension through a medium in which the components move at different speeds .
Applications are :
(i) In pharmaceutical sector for analysing and testing samples ,
(ii) In forensic science different forensic pathology and crime scene testing we can use the gas chromatography .
(iii) In chemical industry testing of different contaminants and PCBs in pesticides and fuels we can use chromatography .
(iv) To study the metabolism and proteins and nucleic acids we can use this chromatography technique .

2) sepration of pigment from natural colours
