☘ Cleansing action of detergents :

❁ Clothes containing belt like Oil and Grease or difficult to wash with ordinary water.

❁ Because the ordinary water cannot wait the oil and Grease as its surface tension relatively more.

❁ When the detergents are added to water, its surface tension decreases when a dirty cloth is dipped in soap water, it wets the oil and grease.

❁ If now water Rushed through the tainted clothes, water pulls out the oil and grease from them. Thus detergents are used to clean dirty clothes.
