◆ Finding area of irregular surfaces -

Step I -

• Put the irregular cardboard on graph paper & draw its outline using pencil.

Step II -

• Now remove the cardboard from the graph paper & count the number of squares within enclosed shape.

Step III -

• Area of the the cardboard will be equal to no of squares enclosed.

* Note that area of the cardboard should be written in same unit as area of each square.
