The substances that burns during combustion are know as combustible substance. for example -paper, petrol etc.

$<b>CONDITIONS FOR A COMBUSTIBLE SUBSTANCE TO BURN </b>$
*The substance must be combustible.
*There should be presence of oxygen.
*There should be minimum temperatures to ignite.

$<b>TYPES OF COMBUSTION </b>$

There are three types of combustion -:
*Rapid combustion.
*spontaneous combustion.
*explosion.
