Conservation of resources is a need because :

1 . The resources are depleting due to dicriminate use by the mankind.

2. We need to save for the future generation. So they can use it. That is we need to accept the concept of sustainable development.

3. Most of the conventional resources we use are exhaustable. Hence it is very important to use them discriminately. Or we can also opt for Non - conventional sources of energy. They are comparitively less polluting.
