this is a type of covalent bond . it is shown by an arraw pointing from donar to acceptor. it is also known as dative bond or semipolar bond.

Answer:
The bond formed between two atoms by sharing a pair of electrons, provided entirely one or combining atoms but shared by both is called COORDINATE BOUND.
Hydronium ions (H3O+) ion and ammonium ion (NH4+) contain coordinate bond.
Condition for the formation of the Coordinate bond
- One of the two atoms must have at least one lone pair of electrons,.....e.g..ammonia (NH3),water(H2O).
- Another atom should be short of at least a pair of electrons,e.g..Hydrogen ion(H+)
A coordinate bond has properties of both covalent and ionic bond. Therefore, it is also called dative or co-ionic bond.
- Coordinate bond is represented by"->".
