DC Generator

DC generator convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.

it also work on the principle of Faraday law of electromagnetic induction.

the uppermost covering part called skull (stator ) in which pole is welded or bollated

the field winding is done on the surface of Pole . pole must be present in even number. from Pole - pole shoe is attached which perform function to distribute uniform field in the air gap for better working of DC generator. the armature present in DC motor will be isolated and made up of thin sheet polish copper loss as well as iron loss.
