in solid the molecules are tightly packed.
in liquids they have small spacers between them
and in gases they are very loosely bound and have large intermolecular spaces
hope it helps

Your answer
________________________________
Solids
=> solids are those which have definite shape and definite volume.
=> solids are generally hard than liquid and gas
=> solids have high density than liquid and gas
=> all metals are solid except mercury which is liquid at room temperature.
___________________________________
Liquids
=> liquids have definite volume
=>liquids have not definite shape
=> they are fluids
=> they have low density than solids but high than gases.
_________________________________
Gaese
=>gases do not have definite shape and volume
=>they have mass
=> their molecules are very far away from each other they are free in atmosphere
=> hydrogen,oxygen,nitrogen, argon, chlorine are some gases.

I hope it will help you
