thermoplastic - they have intermolecular forces of attraction are in between those of elastomer and fibre . these are soften and melt on heating and can be reshaped . these are linear structure
thermosetting - these do not soften on heating and hence can not be reshaped or remounded. these have 3d cross linked structure
