MODERATES(early nationalists) :-
1)Time period was 1885-1905.
2)they adopted methods such as petitions and appeals.
3)they gained very little political advantage for india.
4)their demands were to ICS exam to be held in india also, widrawl of arms act and vernacular press act.
5) Dadabhai naoroji, GK Gokhale, MG Ranade, were some great moderates leaders.
EXTREMIST (radicals):-
1) Time period was 1905-1918.
2) Their methods were boycott and swadeshi.
3) they gained good political advantage.
4) their aim was to free india.
5) lal-bal-pal were great extremist leaders.
