Explanation: The main properties of water are its polarity, cohesion, adhesion, surface tension, high specific heat, and evaporative cooling. A water molecule is slightly charged on both ends. This is because oxygen is more electronegative than hydrogen. ... The stream of water bends due to the polarity of water molecules.

It has no definite shape and size. It takes the size of the container in which displays. It has the capacity to  flow.

In addition to this liquid also has certain properties such as surface tension.

The  liquid has other properties such as adhesion and cohesion by which the molecules of the substances get close to each other. water also have the capacity of evaporation by which there is change of the liquid to glacier state that occurs only from the surface of the liquid.

hope it helps you give a small thanks in return

Water is formed by 2 H-atoms bonded ti central O-atom.

  • Water is formed by 2 H-atoms bonded ti central O-atom.Due to large difference in electronegativity of H & O, water molecules show hydrogen bonding.
  • These hydrogen bonds hold water molecules together in liquid phase.
  • But this force is not enough to keep these molecules forever, hence it can't show solid phase.
