The different ways to induce current in a coil are as follows: i) If a coil is moved rapidly between the two poles of a horse-shoe magnet, then an electric current is induced in the coil. ii) If a magnet is moved relative to a coil, then an electric current is induced in the coil.

Electric current can be induced in a coil due to the relative motion between the coil and a magnetic field.

There are two ways to do so.

1. Inducing current on a coil by moving the coil in a magnetic field

2. Inducing current on a coil by by changing the  magnetic field across it.

3. By taking two conducting coils and insert them over a non conducting cylindrical roll then on changing current flowing in one coil, an induced current is obtained in the other coil.
