DIRECT CURRENT :a current that always flows in one direction is called direct current. The current which we get from battery or a cellist direct current because it always flows in the same direction. It is graphically represented by a straight line parallel to the time axis.
ALTERNATING CURRENT:an electric current which flows first in one direction in a circuit ,called the positive direction ,then in the reverse or negative direction at a regular interval of time is called alternating current .
The generators can produce either DC or AC.
