Answer:

Since Brazil has a vast latitudinal and longitudinal extent, rainfall differs from one part of the country to the other. Equator crosses the northern part of the country. It rains throughout the year in the equatorial regions. Hence the northern part has equatorial forests. With the reduction in rainfall, the growth and availability of vegetation also decreases. Grasses and short shrubs grow in regions receiving low rainfall. Thorns and scrubs grow in areas of scanty rainfall.Trees like mahogany, pau brasil, rubber rosewood and variety of orchids are found in Brazil. Evergreen forests are found in the region which receive rainfall throughout the year.

A greater diversity of wild life is found in Brazil than in any other country in the world.

Huge anacondas are found in swampy areas of Pantanal.

Guinea pigs, crocodiles, alligators, monkeys, pumas and leopards are some of the animals that are found in Brazil.

While swordfish is found in the seas, pink dolphins and piranhas are found in the rivers.

Condors, a specie of vulture and various kinds of parrots, macaws and flamingos are the major birds that are found in the country.

Millions of varieties of insects are also found in the country.
