if the last two digits of a no is divisible by 4 then the no will be dividible by 4

ex 201428 is divisible by 4 because 28 is divisible by 4

if a no is divisible by 2 and 3 then it will be divisible by 6

ex 24444 is divisible by 2 and 3 so it is divisible by 6

to check divisibility by 7 subtract twice the ones digit from the left no if the answer is divisible by 7 then it will be divisible by 7

ex 364=36-2×4

36-8

28which is divisible by 7 so the no. is divisible by 7

to check divisibility by subtract the sum of odd places from even places

ex-165

sum of odd places = 5+1=6

sum of even places= 6

sum of even places-sum of odd places=6-6=0

which is divisible by 11 so the no is divisible by 11
