1)When the deoxygenated blood from the body is transported to the right auricle of the heart it is pumped through the right ventricle and the pulmonary artery towards the lungs for oxygenation, and returned to the heart through the pulmonary vein from lungs with oxygenated blood.
2) Then, from the left auricle and then left ventricle, it is then pumped to the aorta to transport blood to all parts of body, and then comes back to the heart.
These cycles are known as 1) Pulmonary cycle 2) Systemic cycle
