Your answer :

Suspension : A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which the solute particles do not dissolve but remain suspended.
In a suspension particles can be seen with our naked eyes. It scatters light when light is passed through it i.e. it shows Tyndall effect. Solid particles in it are more than 100nm in size.

Example : When sand is stirred vigorously with water the sand particles get distributed evenly in water and we get a suspension. After sometime the particles of the mixture that is sand particles settle down under the influence of gravity.

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day =)
