Double Fertilization:
During fertilization, two pollen nuclei (male gametes) enter inside the ovule. In the ovule one male nucleus fuses with the egg cell to form zygote and other fuses with the secondary nucleus or the central nucleus to form the endosperm. As the fertilization is taking place twice, it is known as double fertilization.

Hello friend !!!
Here's the answer you are looking for
When the pollen grains enters into the pollen tube, it gives rise to 2 male gametes.
These 2 male gametes travel all the way through the pollen tube and enter into the ovary.
One male gamete fertilizes the egg or ovum and the other male gamete fertilizes the 2 polar nuclei.
Since 2 fertilisations take place, it is termed as double fertilisation.
